For New Zealand Sign Language Week, join a free interpreted sign language tour for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community. Led by facility staff and an interpreter, the tour takes participants through the Homestead, a dig into an archive of historic photographs, and a leisurely stroll through the beautiful gardens.
The tour covers a brief history of the Nathan family, the heritage buildings, and the homestead's current offerings as a community arts centre in Manurewa.
At the conclusion of the tour join the NZSL pottery workshop from 1 pm onwards.
