On a Lighter Note: POSTPONED

POSTPONED due to to COVID lock downs. New date still to be determined.

We warmly invite you to our upcoming Whangarei Choral concert 'On a Lighter Note' on Saturday 28 August. We will be singing an entertaining mix of jazz, musical theatre, spirituals and a world premiere!

We have as our guest conductor, David Hamilton, who is a well-known New Zealand choral conductor and composer. We will be singing his beautiful work 'Night Visions' with our soprano soloist Vera Pluijlaar. David Hamilton has also written a new work 'I Pray Tonight' dedicated to Whangarei Choral which will be the concert's grand finale.

We are also excited to be joined by the Wondrous Wahine from Girls' High led by Marie Netzler and the Whangarei Youth Choir led by Maria Satterfield.
