Piano Concert: Stephen De Pledge

Stephen De Pledge, a NZer, has gained an international reputation as a piano soloist. His overseas career has included performances in Hong Kong, Italy, France, Singapore, Japan, Germany, USA and UK. Last year he was described as a pianist of great versatility and "of exemplary taste and chutzpah”, after his Auckland NZSO performance ( NZ Herald 24/09/2020). De Pledge had recently been appointed 'senior teacher of piano' at the Auckland University School of music.

De Pledge's programme will consist of works by Bach, Faure, Debussy, Chopin and shorter NZ compositions. More information is available at the Whangarei Music Society website.
