Join The Creative Kids Collective at Swanson Park in Māngere Bridge as we bring a truckload of boxes and junk to re-purpose and play with.

The kids will be taking the lead as they discover and create, build or deconstruct and watch their creations take shape using the resources anyway they like.

We let the kids choose what to play with and scaffold their innovative ways as they figure things out.

We will bring cardboard boxes, cable reels, fabric, small loose parts and everyday household recycling; all getting a new lease of life as the kids experience first-hand at rethinking rubbish. We aim to be a waste-free event.

This Out and About Auckland event is possible with the enthusiastic support from Māngere-Ōtāhuhu Local Board.
