Postponed due to weather. New date Sunday 14 November.

Rose Sunday returns to the beautiful Rose Gardens.

Visitors will be greeted with small rose buttonholes from Rose Society members’ home gardens and will be able to get advice and information on all things ‘Roses’ from industry professionals. There will be kids entertainment, ice-cream and coffee trucks, so bring a picnic and relax on the lawn while enjoying the tranquillity of the park.

The Rose Garden was officially opened on Sunday 26 November 1967 and its design was based on Kew Gardens in England. Starting with 4,000 rose bushes, it has grown to now hold over 5,500 roses. Frimley Park is widely known as an ‘Old English’ park and has a number of historic trees.

The playground received an upgrade with a sensory playground designed to help those with poor vision or with learning disabilities. Classic pieces such as swings, slides and rope climbers are all there too, as well as a circular path for scootering around the play area and a sandpit playground surface.

Gates open at 11am with entertainment from 12 noon to 3pm. Don’t miss this memorable event.

Please remember to follow the government's Covid-19 guidelines. Remember to scan in, social distance, wear a mask & stay home if you are unwell.
