The 6 June Songwriters’ Showcase features the work of three more local songwriters.
Annette Esquenet - Annette is a Kāpiti based singer songwriter who has a style all of her own. She writes sensitive, heartfelt lyrics to interesting melodies with her own style of accompaniment on a variety of instruments. This Songwriter Sunday will showcase her earlier songs on acoustic guitar.
Cindy Muggeridge - Cindy may be best known for her boogie and blues piano playing and big warm voice, or for her band the Raven Mavens Quartette, or then again she may be known for her instantly listenable songs delivered in her own inimitable style. She will be playing some of her original songs with the aid of fellow Maven songstress Marian Carter.
Ingrid Saker - Ingrid is a Pōneke-based musician with a mix of folk and blues influences. While her band, Ingrid and the Ministers, is all-out rock-n-roll, her solo performances are a softer, more intimate and lyrical journey through the landscapes of love, loss and redemption.
