December is a time of traditional rituals and joyful celebrations – pine trees, presents, pavlova and the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra’s annual Yuletide concert in the beautiful Holy Trinity Cathedral.

Music is at the heart of any festivity and Tianyi Lu, winner of the 9th International Sir Georg Solti International Conductors’ Competition 2020, conducts a programme that includes Adam’s ‘O Holy Night’ and Vaughan Williams’ Fantasia on Christmas Carols.

Special guests Oliver Sewell and The Graduate Choir NZ will join the celebrations, which wouldn’t be complete without a generous helping of your favourite traditional Christmas carols.
