Story Walks Around The Libraries

Whilst many of use celebrate Matariki with the rising of Matariki in some areas of Aotearoa Matariki is never visible to the naked eye. These areas use the star Puanga. To grow knowledge about this in our district we have created Story Walks around all four of our libraries which lead into a nice dry warm place for whānau to spend time and read, use computers, etc.

Our story walk features the story; A story for Matariki: The Promise of Puanga and He Pūrakau Matariki: Te Kī Taurangi a Puanga.
