Become a Stroke Champion and walk or run the Tauranga Marathon 2021 in support of stroke survivors across New Zealand!

Over 9,000 strokes are experienced each year – that’s one every hour – and this number is predicted to rise by 40% in the next decade! Thanks to supporters like you, the Stroke Foundation’s 28 Community Stroke Advisors (CSAs) were able to respond to over 5,500 stroke survivors in the last year, providing free, critical services to stroke survivors, and their family / whānau and carers, and help them achieve the best possible outcomes for their recovery.

With options from 5km, 10km, half marathon, full marathon or 50k Ultra there's something for everyone!

Thank you for becoming a Stroke Champion and helping us to support thousands of stroke survivors across New Zealand!
