With the help of the NZ Music Commission, SOLE has put together a brand new music business speaker and mentoring series to support emerging Canterbury artists and upcoming music professionals.
THE IMAGE is the 3rd of 6 music seminars, where special guest speakers will cover everything you need to know about how to make and release your music successfully.
So you have the music, but now you need the image!
Having professional images for press, magazines and blogs, developing your artwork for your music releases, deciding on your ‘look’, or outfit for performances, and creating your electronic press kit to sell your music is an integral part of being an artist. Sound overwhelming?
Come listen to the ‘go-to’ Christchurch based photographer, Charlie Rose, personal fashion stylist Jessica Amor, Artist and graphic designer Andy Knopp (The Response) and Sam Dunlay (And$um) Artist and writer for ‘Sniffers’ talk you through the steps, tips and tricks to ensure your music is taken seriously, and give you the skillset to assemble a creative team to make your music stand out from the crowd.
There will be a Q&A with the speakers and the opportunity to network with other attendees & speakers afterwards.
