This year’s Southern Consort of Voices Christmas concert celebrates coming together again to sing some of our favourite works for the festive season.
Ranging from early 17th-century polyphony to Aotearoa’s own David Childs, the programme also takes in a traditional German carol, rich Russian harmonies from Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninov, and the title piece, an arrangement of popular folk artist Kate Rusby’s “Underneath the Stars.”
