Auckland Grammar School

Auckland Grammar School is a State Secondary School for boys and caters for students from Form 3 to Form 7 (Years 9-13) who reside in the 'Grammar Zone'. The School also has a boarding hostel which caters for 120 boys from outside the Auckland isthmus. The School insists on the pursuit of all-round excellence in academic, sporting and cultural activities, encouraging each boy to recognise and develop his individual potential and gain pride and satisfaction through setting demanding personal goals and striving to attain them. Opportunities are given to all boys for participation in group and team endeavours to develop skills in cooperation, and healthy competition is promoted in all activities.
