**IMPORTANT NEWS - please read!**
Unfortunately Koffie has had to pull out due to a family crisis. We're disappointed but trying to embrace the unfolding of the great mystery. I've decided to go ahead and amazingly have managed to find another dear brother, Fred Archer, to drum with me. The vibe will be a bit different, but still earthy, hearty and uplifting. I hope you will join us to dance on the earth. We'll be sending out love and prayers to Koffie, his family, and anyone else in need. Much love, Sika x

P.S. I've contacted existing ticket holders via email. Any refund requests will be honoured.

Feel the heartbeat of the earth. An uplifting night of Didgeridoo & West African Drums.

It's also Valentine's Day, so a perfect opportunity to gather together and feel the love!

Sika & Koffie have joined forces for this special concert. Two masters of their crafts with enough positive energy to raise the roof! Hypnotic drum rhythms and deep didgeridoo combine with voice and soaring natives flutes.

Expect a mixture of joyful, upbeat dance songs and slower, heartfelt improvisations. A dynamic fusion of raw power and sensitivity. Connect to yourself and let spirit move through you. Sit, stand or dance!

Weather permitting, this special event will be held in the Courtyard, a magical sheltered outdoor space at Fairfield House. Don't worry if rainy or windy, as we'll move into the Ballroom instead.

About Koffie:
Koffie grew up in a village called Abor in the Volta Region of Ghana where traditional music and dance is part of daily life. He moved to New Zealand in 2013 and now goes out from his home in Dunedin to perform and teach African drumming and dance throughout the country.

About Sika:
Sika is a sound artist and multi-instrumental musician. He has performed at festivals and concerts worldwide for over 25 years and is known for his shamanic sound journeys. His work reflects a lifetime of listening to the rhythms of nature. Sika plays a vast collection of sacred instruments.

Practical Info:
This is not a sound journey, so don't expect to lie down!
There will be chairs and room to stand or dance. If you'd prefer to sit on the floor please bring a cushion.
If we're able to hold this event outside in the Courtyard, you may wish to bring a couple of layers to stay warm. There will be a fire if permits allow.
A bottle of water is recommended to stay hydrated.
CDs will be on sale - cash only.

Advance tickets are available online. They will also be sold on the door, cash only, subject to availability.

We hope you can join us for this beautiful collaboration.
