New Zealand's own show-stopping, heartwarming family band The Harmonic Resonators are bringing their unique mix of country, Waiata Maori, and party tunes to Baycourt Theatre. The Resonators are joining with the Boobops, a dragon boating team of breast cancer survivors, to support their participation at the World Breast Cancer Dragon Boat Championships in Karapiro, Hamilton in 2023. There will be over 100 breast cancer teams from all over the world competing, and the Boobops will be hoping to better their 11th placing in Florence in 2018.
The Resonators have an infectious uplifting energy, combining toe-tapping rhythms, uplifting harmonies, soaring yodels, and a captivating stage presence to create unforgettable performances, enjoyed by young and old alike. Think: the Howard Morrison Quartet meets the Pentatonix meets 'Oh Brother Where Art Thou'
After performing from Melbourne to Southland, for families in tiny marae to thousands at huge festivals; and recording their second Album 'Rongo ki te Oro', they are returning to Tauranga Moana, where their musical journey as a band began.
