Every holiday, The ART Excel Programs for Children 8-12years, create an amazing line-up of value-based activities, adventures and special projects for the holidays. Your kids will blossom, gain deeper connections with themselves and others, make loads of new friends and will have an awesome time with us!
What we offer
Our holistic programmes equip children with tools that support healthier, happier 'little humans', through:
Yoga – by building strength, immunity and flexibility in body and mind, we regulate attention and behaviour and develop cognitive skills
Breathwork – by connecting with the natural rhythms of the breath we boost energy, eliminate toxins from the body, calm the mind, decrease anxiety, improve focus and strengthen the immune system
Mindfulness & Meditation – by training the brain to stay healthy and resilient, the result is a happy, peaceful state of mind with greater concentration and awareness
Expressive Arts – by enhancing the creativity from within, we recognise strengths, gain confidence, improve social skills and self-awareness
Group Processes – by working together, we grow friendships and comaraderie, develop people-skills and develop a greater sense of belonging
Fostering a Sense of Service – by cultivating a sense of responsibility towards one's self and others, core human values of kindness, compassion, understanding and generosity blossom from within. Children become empowered to take better care of themselves, their families, communities and our planet
The best care for your kids
We take the best care of your children. All our programs meet Department of Child, Youth and Family Services standards. We've had years of holiday program experience and have well-developed systems and procedures in place to ensure excellent care. For all our activities and at all times we ensure there are staff qualified in First Aid treatment.
*Note
This programme is for children aged 8 to 12 years, and is designed to enhance mind, body and spirit using games, drama, music, art, group interaction, story telling, dance, quiet time, exercise and lots of laughter.
The activities are specially designed and put together to draw out the best of each child’s personality, to increase confidence, grow friendships, and offer tools to teach children how to increase their own joy and wellbeing. The kids just love it!!
After completing the workshop, all participants gain access to regular, ongoing follow-up sessions.
