Auckland Uni Big Band Extravaganza!
For the first time ever, the UOA jazz department is proud to present not one, but TWO Big Bands! That's right folks-- two for the price of one! Come along and hear the Monday Night Big Band, directed by Callum Passells and the Tuesday Night Big Band, directed by Roger Manins. Both big bands feature a fantastic lineup of talented students from the University of Auckland, and we are happy to say, a sprinkling of up and coming high school students! We will be drawing from Ellington, Basie, Fletcher Henderson, Thad Jones and other classics.
It will be a great night, and we hope to see you!
