We are seeking your feedback on a draft Community Engagement model to enable you to be involved in the future of Palmerston North’s premier heritage home and grounds.
In May this year the Council requested the Chief Executive develop a model to enable community involvement in the in-house service delivery of Caccia Birch House and to report back to Arts, Culture & Heritage Committee by February 2022. A decision to push the reporting to Council out to August 2022 was made to ensure feedback from interest groups and key stakeholders could be sought.
A draft Community Engagement model has been designed which aligns with the current Wildbase structure, another key strategic asset for the city.
The model encompasses two key aspects:
- The repurposing of the existing trust; and
- The establishment of an advisory group
Join us to hear details of the draft model and how you can give us your feedback.
Please note, Caccia Birch House is a vaccine mandated venue. Vaccine passes will be checked upon arrival.
