Castlecliff Lights Tour With Special Guests Space Trash

Celebrating the release of their new singles Caution to the Wind and Queen of my World, Castlecliff Lights will be touring in November and December 2022. Based in Whanganui, the four piece band evolved out of singer and guitarist Ellen Young's solo project of the same name. Their genre bending psychedelic, ethereal, durge, indie rock takes the audience on a rollercoaster that can sometimes take the form of sweet, haunting, reverb filled female vocals and at other times
culminate in a jarring all-encompassing wall of noise.

Playing with them is Space Trash, also from Whanganui. Culminated from fragments of surf, punk and spacejunk, they eminate a positively electric vibration.

Also playing is Napier locals Massive Hammerhead Shark, who are not so much a band as a collective hallucination dreamed into life by the celestial Goddess ‘Ow!’ What might be conceived as ‘music’ is actually the closest interpretation of the ‘gospel of Ow’ which can be recognised by human ears.
