Chris Armour and Leo Ladell

“King” Leo LaDell is one of Aotearoa’s best kept musical secrets.

Born in Norfolk Virginia, LaDell has shared the stage with legends such as Pinetop Perkins and Bo Diddley. He brings his own powerful and dignified presence to a blend of traditional blues idioms.

After moving to Otepoti, Aotearoa in 2004, Leo has been quietly delivering some of the country’s best, most deeply felt live performances and has built a loyal following.

Chris Armour is our very own Wellington wonder guitarist, heard and lauded often for his ability to fall into the music and play just the right, tasty stuff.

They will be backed by Steve Moodie on upright bass and Hikurangi Schaverien-Kaa on drums.
