An absolute extravaganza of comedy, with five comedians taking the stage at The Cook, Alan McElroy hosts a talent fest, with Itay, Samantha Hannah and Keegan all before the most cynical man in NZ Comedy - Cori Gonzales-Macuer.

Alan is an award winning Irish comedian, living in New Zealand. He is fresh from a sold out run with The Full Irish & The Comedy Pub Crawl at Melbourne International Comedy Festival. He has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe, Electric Picnic & performed to sold out crowds around New Zealand with his Irish & Scottish comedy show, Booze & Craic

Itay has been on the Auckland comedy scene for the last 8 years and most recently was seen getting eliminated from the Bachelorette NZ. He can be heard on Radio New Zealand and has written for popular comedy shows such as 7 Days and Have You Been Paying Attention.

Keegan Govind is a product of the New Zealand comedy scene. A high energy act with the confidence and material to back it up, a constant crowd favourite at the Classic. A sure fire fun time for any audience with him as MC, he uses comedic skill and energy to set the atmosphere for an unforgettable night of laughs. Keegan was named as a breakthrough male comedian in 2020 and one of the best MC’s in 2021 by the NZ Comedy Guild

After a 5 year hiatus, Scottish Comedian Samantha Hannah blasted back onto the comedy scene in 2018 by trying to find a husband in a year and then writing a show about it. Imaginatively titled ‘How to Find a Husband in a Year’, this social-experiment-meets-stand-up-show saw her plastered across UK national news after meeting her perfect match 12000 miles away via Tinder while she was in New Zealand and he (a Kiwi) was in the UK.

7 Days regular and star of “What We Do In The Shadows”, Cori Gonzalez-Macuer has been performing his unique brand of self-deprecating, observational and deadpan comedy since 2003.

In that time he's won the Billy T James Award, appeared on film and television, and performed in Australia, America, England, Scotland, Singapore and as far as the Middle East and South America.

Since becoming a father recently, Cori's truly happy for the first time ever, but that doesn't mean he’s stopped disliking a lot of stuff. From NZ ‘Socialites’, to people who post inspirational quotes, to reality TV "stars", there's a lot of annoying people on this earth. Join him as he dissects the people he desperately hopes his daughter doesn't turn into.
