HAMILTON OPERATIC SOCIETY

Just when you thought you’d heard it all... Hamilton Operatic Society presents a show like no other.

CUT! features songs that were shockingly excluded from well-known musicals including Little Shop of Horrors, Hamilton, Evita, Fiddler on the Roof, Cabaret, and more.

Reasons for exclusion include “cut because the actress was afraid of heights”, “cut because two power ballads were too many in one show”, and “cut to shorten the running time of the musical”.

This festival highlight is directed by David Sidwell and features talented Waikato vocalists Julia Booth, Jess Ruck-Nu’u, Helen Drysdale-Dunn, Scot Hall, Alex Pelham-Waerea and Sam Cleaver.
