Introducing to the stage the incredible Lana Law, Nanako Sato, Mike Kime and Joe McCallum!
Famous for her musical direction of the All Girl Big Band Lana is hugely involved in jazz here in Ōtautahi - teaching at many Christchurch schools and introducing the Christchurch Youth Jazz Orchestra to the scene in 2021. Nanako runs the jazz program at Hagley and brings much joy and jazz to the stage. These two amazing musicians are joined by Mike Kime on double bass (is there anything he can't do?) and Joe McCallum on drums (so fabulous). I can't wait to welcome in the long easter weekend with some fantastic swingin' jazz from these guys.
Ed's Jazz Club is a great place to get some fantastic live jazz in a socially distanced kind of way. Your ticket will get you front row seats (and a table!) to listen to some of the best jazz in town. It's a great way to support the arts and artists in Christchurch - now's the time! (pun intended)
