Movement Works

Move Better, Feel Better from the comfort of your own home with online movement and mobility classes.

- Relieve and prevent tension, aches, pains and "niggles"
- Improve posture, breathing and sleep
- Increase awareness/mindfulness
- Improve mobility, coordination & balance
- Confidence and ease in your everyday activities

The classes are different from a standard exercise or yoga class.

For starters, they are all verbally guided to direct your attention and awareness to HOW you move.

The awareness helps you really tune in and understand your body, your movement habits and how you move.

And instead of using effort, sweat or strain, you improve through using slow, mindful movement.

Think of it like "working in" rather than "working out".

All body types and levels of experience are welcome. It doesn't matter if you've never tried yoga or Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement ® class before or you've been doing it for years.

Classes are held online using Zoom. When you register you will be sent instructions for how to log on and what you need to do to set up at home.

Classes run as a 4-week term. If you miss a class that you've paid for, you get an audio recording that you can do in your own time at home for the next 2 weeks.

You can also join as a casual drop-in.
