Haruatai Park and the old hospital grounds in Otaki is a great place for foraging with a real mix of exotics and natives.
After a 1.5h foraging walk in the park we will head back to my garden for some foraged botanical ice cream tasting. Ice cream is a great tool for showcasing flavours.
We will meet at my house right next to the entranceway to Haruatai Park.
This is a small tour with a maximum of five guest, with ice cream tasting in my garden on the deck.
Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear for our foraging walk.
My ice cream range is mostly dairy-based so please let me know if you prefer dairy-free and ill make sure to bring some along.
