Saxophonist Frank Talbot brings an eclectic mix of soul/boogaloo
standards, classic pop/rock bangers, funky originals and organ trio classics. All delivered
with an emphasis on energy, ensemble interaction and fun with some of Auckland’s top
musicians.

Talbot has already led an extensive career as an instrumentalist, playing for the Rodger
Fox Big Band including a tour of New Orleans and New York, twice touring Eastern Europe
with the JM Jazz World Orchestra, playing for the RNZAF Band and Jazz Orchestra,
performing alongside the New Zealand String Quartet, for the Julie Lamb Outfit, Bohemian
Thought & the Magnificents, and touring his own quartet all through the country with a debut
album to be released in early 2023.
