Hutt Valley Orchestra is delighted to be able to play our first concert for 2022.
The concert will open with a supportive rendering of the Ukranian National Anthem. Then follows Mozart's much loved Symphony no 40. After this, our soloist Cordelia Waldron performs the first movement of Mozart's Violin concerto no 3. Cordelia won the Hutt Valley Orchestra Cup presented to the most talented player at the Hutt Valley Performing Arts Competition in 2021.
In the second half of the concert we play the lively Overture to "Light Cavalry" by Von Suppé and two movements from NZ composer Douglas Liburn's Second symphony.
Masks are recommended.
