Yee-haw! Join us for Kenny’s Hoedown – an evening of live music, line dancing with Ginger Velour, history talks from Audioculture and more!
Celebrating the contribution of famed Wellington busker, the late, great “Kenny” (John D’Estaing Adams) and Wellington’s night culture, the museum takes the guise of a raucous night-time street with a tribute to buskers everywhere.
Browse our exhibitions, enjoy live music from new and familiar acts, a cash bar and down-home eats. Hosted by Mr Fungus with performances by Joe Blossom, King Homeboy, Wrarwick & The Wrankers, Heleyni, Wellington’s favourite Erhu player, and others.
