Kokomo & Mike Garner - International Blues Music Day 2022

The first Saturday in August is International Blues Music Day!

To mark the occasion two of New Zealand's finest combine for an evening celebrating the blues in all its forms. Kokomo are well-known throughout the country and have just released their 15th album, Workhorse, a collection of contemporary Kiwi blues.

For this special night they join forces with award-winning bluesman Mike Garner for a journey through the blues, from the early earthy sounds of The Mississippi Delta through the following decades of acoustic and electric blues.
