Lightroom & Photoshop Workflow with Paul Daly: CANCELLED

A workshop for photographers:

- What should you be doing for your everyday client work when using Adobe Lightroom & Photoshop?
- Do you find yourself spending too much time editing and not enough time shooting?
- Are you struggling to know when to stop (i.e. when you've done enough processing)?
- You know your photos need something extra, but you're not quite sure what?

If so, this workshop is for you! Once you learn and understand the basics, you'll feel the relief of knowing that you can supercharge your workflow for more efficient client image delivery.

Some of the areas covered will include:

- How the use of presets helps create a more streamlined, productive workflow
- Integrating systems to make a seamless workflow between using Lightroom & Photoshop
- Learning to better self assess your work and know when you've done enough to satisfy your clients requirements

The workshop tutor, Paul Daly is a Christchurch based commercial photographer, photo educator and host of small group overseas photographic tours. Paul regularly teaches courses in the use of Adobe Lightroom & Photoshop.

Bring your laptop, as this will be hands-on and you will be editing your own photos during the workshop. Paul will demonstrate his workflow approach using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop with three different genres of images; portrait, commercial and landscape. You will then have the opportunity to try your hand with some of your own images and Paul will float around the attendees to provide advice, support, and give specific tips to individuals.

The workshop will conclude with an open discussion of some selected images created by the attendees and feedback about production techniques will be shared within the group.

This event is being held by the New Zealand Institute of Professional Photography (NZIPP) Canterbury/Westland Region and ticket prices for members is being subsidised by member levies. Non-members are also welcome to attend this event.
