Timothy is a lyric baritone originally from Auckland, currently residing in Greymouth.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Music in singing from the University of Waikato in 2012. He moved to Vienna in October 2013 to further his vocal education. He returned to New Zealand in June 2015. He has presented two recitals with distinguished collaborative pianist Rosemary Barnes: at Whittaker’s Piano Museum on Waiheke Island in November 2019, and most recently at the Regent Theatre in Greymouth in June 2021. He has won multiple prizes in competitions, most notably the Senior Vocal Championship at the North Shore Performing Arts Competitions in 2018. Timothy was a member of Opera Factory (Auckland) from 2016 to 2019. The highlight of his time with the Company was the role of Marco (Gianni Schicchi, Puccini, English version). He also featured in the showcase Opera Bites as part of the Auckland Arts Festival (February 2018) and several recitals. Despite the impact of Covid-19 in 2020, Timothy continued to perform at the Auckland Clef Music Club and the Auckland Lieder Group as a singer and collaborative pianist. In February/March 2022 he will present recitals in Karamea, Westport, Hokitika and Greymouth with pianist Kyle Hsieh.
