Journey with us on a majestic steam train ride from a bygone era between Blenheim and Seddon.

Departure is from Blenheim Railway Station - Enjoy the 50-minute journey with breath-taking views along the Dashwood Pass and the picturesque Awatere Valley, before crossing the historic Awatere River Bridge into Seddon. We spend 45-minutes in Seddon before the return journey back to Blenheim.

The WWI Memorial steam locomotive was built in 1915 and later named the “Passchendaele”, in memory of the 1917 Battle of Passchendaele (New Zealand’s most costly battle in military history). The Marlborough Flyer consists of carriages from the same WW1 period.

Steam Train departs Blenheim at 11:05; arrives Seddon at 11:50; departs Seddon at 12:40 and arrives back in Blenheim at 13:40.
