If you're looking for a fun school holiday activity for all the family, here's one you shouldn't miss!
Locate and identify more than 40 Scarecrows around the scenic town of Methven (just one hour from Christchurch). You can get your maps from the Methven iHub for only $10 and then spend a day or two looking for Scarecrows. Lots of opportunities for coffee, lunch or playground stops and little ones can make the trail on scooters or bikes if their walking legs get tired.
Accommodation options abound with plenty of activities to enjoy including the brand new Opuke Hot Pools, movie theatre and more so why not come and stay!
Prizes are awarded for the most popular Scarecrow and the most correct entries, so don't forget to drop your map (entry form) back before you leave!
