It’s finally happened! Why did we have to wait so long?
A combination of experienced live musicians from across the Wellington, Kapiti and the Wairarapa have come together to honour the last great stadium Rock ‘n’ Roll giants, Foo Fighters, with their tribute, MONKEY WRENCH. Bringing their skills from decades of playing across NZ and further afield in original, cover and tribute bands these 6 musicians give it all every show to make you feel that you have had a Foo Fighter experience second only to the real thing. You’ll know every song, you’ll sing along with every chorus and you’ll leave with a bounce in your step having had a night you’ll remember for a long time.
Starting at the beginning of January 2022 in a Wellington rehearsal studio, Monkey Wrench have spent the year working hard, rehearsing, gigging and honing a full stage show that they are excited to be debuting in full at the Carterton Events Centre. Mitch Dean, the Lead Singer/Guitarist who plays Dave Grohl’s part and also a local is hugely excited to be bringing, “… this amazing rock ‘n’ roll show, a culmination of 12 months hard work of practice and gigs, is going to be a full on rock show with lights, videos and great Foo Fighters hits and it’s so exciting to be bringing it home first.”
This gig is standing room only. Bar will be open, and food available.
