Music in the Gallery - 'My Happy Place'

We are excited to announce that once again, the galleries will be flooded with beautiful music. Singer/Songwriter Paul Allen and Songwriter/Poet Kyra Gillies will be performing with a background of the Otago Art Society's latest exhibition: 'My Happy Place'.

Paul is an English-born Kiwi, living in Ōtepoti, Dunedin. Paul has a reflective lyric style, with his original songs drawing on observations of the world around him. His style ranges in genre from acoustic folk to rock.

Kyra grew up by the ocean in Oamaru and Ōtepoti, Dunedin. Her songs weave and unravel stories, often honouring life, birds and nature. Her style traverses folk, blues, rap and reggae.

Come along and enjoy the music while you peruse the stunning artworks - each artist having taken a different interpretation on the Exhibition theme 'My Happy Place'.

Entry is FREE. The Otago Art Society is currently collecting on behalf of the Food Bank so any food (including Christmas goodies) donations are gratefully received.

We are located on level 1 of the Dunedin Railway Station. To note, the Otago Art Society is wheelchair accessible with ramp access into the building and a lift up to level 1.
