Nick finally received his big comedy break, his comedy album On-Trend was released across America on Sirius XM's Laugh USA; and reached number 4 of all sold albums on iTunes, with an American tour cemented off the back of its success, and a two-year deal on Australian Television hosting a comedy sports show in the bag, what could go wrong?

Nick sold his house and shipped his family and their worldly possessions overseas. They were in the middle of the Pacific ocean when Covid hit, borders closed, and forced to return home. Nick and his young family lived out of suitcases as they waited over 18 months to get their stuff back, $30,000 in moving costs, a cancelled American tour and a two-year television contract down the drain.
