This exhibition is a sequel to Skye’s last exhibition in 2017 'Floral Fantasies' and has been a long time in the making.
'Out of The Shadows' is inspired by the photography of Shawn Rolton with his use of lighting celebrating the female form.
Artist statement:
I don’t get a lot of time to paint and try to commit myself to an exhibition to make myself pick up the brush. This was supposed to be every second year but as we know with Covid over the last couple of years this has changed a lot of plans. My last exhibition was 2017. I love painting, it gives me joy, it’s my absolute happy place, and having these exhibitions helps me share this with everyone.
On display in The Incubator Gallery 18th February - 12th March.
