Radio Show

Improv revives the radio star. It's a walk down memory lane for radio fans - 'Radio Show' is a brand-new show from the celebrated improvised theatre company ‘Impoverished’. Over the course of an hour the group will improvise a radio play intercut with news pieces, competitions, and adverts – the full radio experience! The show will be accessible for visually impaired audience members.

Comedy Festival and Auckland Fringe veterans, Impoverished have been called “highly entertaining”, “incredibly silly”, and “charming” by reviewers and were nominated for the illustrious Best Use of Mayonnaise prize at the NZ International Comedy Festival 2021.
