Raven Mavens Quartette

Raven Mavens Quartette will be kicking off the live music sessions for 2022 at the fabulous Thunderbird Cafe. Raven Mavens Quartette is the musical brainchild of Wellington singer songwriter Cindy Muggeridge, queen of the boogie and blues on piano. What started as a duo with Marian Carter on soulful clarinet and sax, grew into a trio with the addition of Anje Glindemann, swinging like crazy on drums. The trio became the 'Quartette' with the addition of versatile virtuoso, Kate Marshall on accordion, flute and violin. Each woman is a singer and musician worth hearing in her own right, but when they get together there's a unique and beautiful synergy. Come on down afterwork Friday for some all woman blues, ballads and boogies.
