Scarecrows Big Day Out 2022

The Gladstone Scarecrows are back for 2022, so come and be a part of the scarecrow fun on November 12th! You can meander through the Gladstone district and check out the scarecrows on the Scarecrow Drive, then visit the famous Gladstone School Scarecrow Fair.

Scarecrow Fair
Visit the Scarecrow Fair between 9.30am and 2pm. Check out a range of local produce, quality craft stalls, 100s of homegrown plants and loads of family entertainment; jump on a fair ride, indulge in the gorgeous local food, then grab yourself a bargain at the Mid-day Monster Auction! This is the Gladstone school major fundraiser for the year.

Scarecrow Competition
This year’s theme is ‘Space’.
The Scarecrow Competition is open not only to those in the Gladstone district but also to schools, kindys, businesses, organisations and families that would like to make scarecrows to display at the Fair. There are fantastic prizes up for grabs! Email scarecrows@gladstone1.school.nz if you would like to make a scarecrow to be viewed at the Fair.
