Summer Holidays Pottery Wheel Throwing Programme
Age 9-12

A fun and unique opportunity for kids to make pots using the potters wheel.

On the first day we will learn to throw pots on the wheel, focusing on making mug sized cylinders.
Day two: We will throw some more, then attach handles! The participants will each select their three favourite pieces to keep.
Day three: Is all about getting creative with decoration and personalizing the work.

After the course the pieces will be left to dry, then fired; clear glazed and fired again. Ready for collection approx. 3 weeks later.

We ask that participants bring an apron or overshirt to keep their clothes clean and a hand towel
