Give yourself some space this school holiday and send your kids to Saturn. Or Jupiter. Both planets are in the sky right now and we are open with special hours for the school holidays.
We have the best stargazing equipment in Wairarapa (really big telescopes) and expertise. Hari is a TEDx featured astrobiologist and Martian (she trained for Mars at MDRS) who interned at NASA Ames and Sam is a former airforce pilot who now is pursuing his passion for astrophysics.
If it rains or is cloudy, we take you flying through the Universe via our virtual night sky experience.
Star Safari is a 90 minutes experience where we talk about the night sky, space, astrophysics, astrobiology, telescopes, Mars, life in the universe and even aliens. Weather permitting, we stargaze and look through the telescopes.
