Castorways is a 10-voice vocal ensemble that sings everything from Bach to Bowie. In this concert we will perform some well known jazz standards that have been beautifully arranged and some more contemporary popular songs. Many of the arrangements are for 8-part jazz choir that are just stunning.
This is a free concert with entry by Koha. All proceeds from this concert are being donated to Kids Can.

"She's Got a Ticket to Ride" by John Lennon and Paul McCartney, arranged by Paul Langford and accompanied on piano and featuring Judith Williams on cello.
"Fascinating Rhythm" by George Gershwin, arranged by Ed Lojeski.
"And So it Goes" by Billy Joel, arranged by Audrey Snyder.
"Both Sides Now" by Joni Mitchell, arranged by John Coates, Jr.
"Fly Me to the Moon" by Bart Howard, arranged by Kirby Shaw.
"Into the West" (from "Lord of the Rings" - Annie Lennox et al, arranged by Alan Billingsley.
"Somewhere Over the Rainbow" by Harold Arlen and a beautiful arrangement by Molly Ijames and featuring Kirsten Ngan on Violin.
"Steppin Out with my Baby" by Irving Berlin and arranged by Kirby Shaw.
"Summertime" (from Porgy and Bess) by George Gershwin and arranged by Mark Hayes.
"Make You Feel My Love" by Bob Dylan (more recently sung by Adele).
"Lullabye" by Billy Joel, arranged by Kirby Shaw - a beautiful acapella arrangement.
