Ōtaki College and Whakatupuranga Rua Mano present 'The Battalion', written by Helen Otene-Pearse and directed by Jim Moriaty.

The Battalion is a moving story about friendship, loyalty, madness and redemption - seen through the eyes of Paora Matene, a WWII veteran, and relayed to his wayward charges Rimini and George. Sent back to their whānau in the 'one cow town' of Tamariri, Rimini and George are not interested in any of the locals or their family history - they just want to get back to the city. The Battalion includes dancing, singing, acting and Kapa haka.

Performances are on from Wednesday 19th October - Saturday 22 October at 6pm each day. There is also a 1pm matinee on Saturday 22 October.
Prices are $5 Unwaged and $10 Waged.

Please book by emailing booking@otakicollege.school.nz

Contains: Loud noises, references to sexual violence and war themes.
