For more than 15 years this unlikely band of musical miscreants has traipsed around Australasia, bringing joy and harmony to all they encounter. And now they’re back on the road with ukuleles in hand and a swag of new songs. It’s time for audiences old and new to check out what the band have been cooking up over the last year or two.

The Nukes consist of founding members and long-standing songwriting team Ben’Country-boy’ Collier (Goldenhorse) and Dave’Fingers of Fire’ Parker (Rhythm Cage/ Parker Project). We can announce these two self-proclaimed ukulele nuts will be joined by Jay P, the golden-voiced son of Dave, making the band a family affair.

The Nukes have appeared at WOMAD NZ, SPLORE, Auckland and Canterbury Folk Festivals, Oamaru Heritage Festival, New Plymouth Festival Of Light, Wanaka Festival Of Colour, Coastella Festival, The Taranaki, Southland and Hawkes Bay Arts Festivals, Bluff Oyster Festival and a successful nationwide 28 date Arts On Tour NZ Feb-Mar 2017, They have also toured extensively in Australia over the last decade.

Book now, limited tickets: The Nukes are rarely in your area so don’t wait, don’t duck and cover, and don’t try and be a hero... Just gather all your friends and head for ground zero.

Reviews:
For the new album ‘Homespun:
- It is groovy and charming in every way, with impressive songs, instrumentation, vocals, and production
Victoria Vox. 2022

Live shows:
seriously good musicians….foot-tapping riffs…..comic, engaging… with vocals so clear a deaf man could forget his hearing aids and still have a ball…
