Our next First Tuesday concert is on Tuesday 4 October, 12.10pm-12.50pm
We will be treated to a wonderful concert given by the Waikato-based Tennant-Austin Duo.
James Tennant (cello) and Katherine Austin (piano) are two of New Zealand's finest chamber musicians.
They will perform major works for cello and piano, including Beethoven's Sonata in C major Op. 102 No. 1, Schumann's Fantasy Pieces, Martinu's Variations on a Slavonic
Theme and the world premiere of a new work written especially for the duo by NZ composer Janet Jennings.
