Tiger Moth - It’s chocks away, as 'old classics' dogfight 'modern hits' with this ensemble of intrepid jazz warriors. Reimagined Louis Armstrong meets de-harmonised Stevie Wonder, featuring a collaboration of Ōtautahi / Christchurch’s stratospheric instrumentalists and Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland’s heavenly musicians. From beautiful balladic fly-bys to death-defying dixie, this gig is not to be missed! The sextet is led by Gwyn Reynolds on tenor saxophone and features the swooping vocals of Kate Taylor alongside pianist Tom Rainey, trombonist Scott Taitoko, bassist Richie Pickard and drummer Adam Tobeck.
