Vintage Railcar shuttles - Manawatu Gorge

Experience travel from a bygone age and join us onboard our Vintage Standard Railcar RM31 "Tokomaru" for a return journey through the scenic Manawatu Gorge.

Departing Woodville , we head towards the wind turbines sitting proud in the hills, then we snake our way through the Manawatu Gorge where you get a feel for how quickly nature takes over.
Nearing Ashhurst, you will see the extent of the construction works forming part of the new Te Ahu a Turanga - Manwatu Tararua Highway.

Arriving at Ashhurst we sop briefly for the driver to change ends for the return journey.
