Violet Genesis is the techno project of award winning electronic artist Paige Julia.

Paige has been performing techno sets across Aotearoa since she was introduced to the power of the sound in 2012. Though more well known for her journeys into bass music, you can expect an unpretentious foray into techno, with space for breakbeat and house influences when the moment calls for it.

Delivering hellraisers for the clubs and festival circuit alike, Kadyn’s presence on German record labels Black Snake and Black Square Recordings drove a dent in the Beatport
Techno Hype chart with singles ‘Respond 93212’ tipping #54 and ‘Hyperspace’ at #65, while attaining high-end support.
Notably one of New Zealand’s pioneering techno artists, Kadyn Webster has accumulated billing with the likes of Richie Hawtin, Adam Beyer and Nina Kraviz on New Zealand’s pivotal 121 Festival, Rhythm and Vines Festival and Bay Dreams. Deep in the clubs,
support duties for Wehbba, Juliet Fox, PanPot, Victor Ruiz and Christoph have taken a notable spot on the underground curriculum vitae for Kadyn, putting him under the noses of some of the world’s most elite tastemaker.
Opening the night will be Ink Resident Bevan Keys. Bevan's position in the pantheon of god like figures strutting their stuff at the mythical musical mountain is such that he has transcended beyond the title bestowed on him as "the DJ's DJ" to something even more exalted. "The DJ for DJs DJ"
Humble as always Bevan takes one for the team by opening 10-12. Kadyn 12-2.Violet 2-4.
