2023-24 Lucas Oil Hydro Thunder NZ Series

Two-day event of Powerboat racing featuring Grand Prix Hydroplanes reaching speeds of 270km with a spectacular 300 ft rooster tail they do 4 laps of a 2 km course in less than 2.5 mins.

Also featured at the event are other types of powerboat racing Formula One tunnels, a two-seater Formula One tunnel, Junior class racing Grand National Hydroplanes, Formula V and Mod VP outboard racing runabouts. On water and on land displays. Food and refreshments available onsite over both days.

Spectacular viewing of the race course, and plenty of onsite parking.
