The event features mesmerizing ghazal singing (poetic singing style of Indian classical music) by Amitav Islam from Perth Australia. He will sing his originals and covers of the trinity of ghazals (Jagjit Singh, Mehandi Hassan, and Ghulam Ali). He will be sharing the stage with Auckland-based singers Daljeet Kaur, Pritha Chakraborty, and Kanika Deish. The singers will be accompanied by Gurpreet Singh tabla player from Perth and Manjit Singh on the tabla from Auckland and Dharmesh Parikh on keyboard.
